What is the NMNPC forum?

The forum is a place to share, find, or exchange information. Each forum is basically a "bucket" that may hold one or more topics such as:

  • Nurse practitioners (NPs) who want information about continuing education (CE) may start a CE Forum. That forum might contain several topics: CE available locally, CE on diabetes, or ANCC-COA accredited CE.
  • Besides taking care of patients, NPs also run or help run their practices. Interested NPs could start a Practice Administration Issues Forum with topics such as billing/coding, credentialing with insurance companies or hospitals, or patient scheduling issues.
  • Legislative and regulatory issues affect NPs practice and their patients. A Legislative/Regulatory Forum might include topics such as nurse practice act issues, new legislation, or insurance regulations.

How can I add a new forum or topic?

Contact the webmaster with your information.

How do I log in to post a comment or dicussion to a forum topic?

Although all website visitors can view forum topics, you must be in our database and log in to post a comment or discussion on a forum topic. Nurse practitioners licensed in New Mexico as of February 2009 are most likely already in our database. If you're not already a member, or you're a member, but haven't changed your log in information, the default user name is your first and last name without spaces, for example, "JaneBrown". The default password is your zip code of the address the Board of Nursing has in its record. If you have trouble logging in, please contact the webmaster.
