Can You Help the MRC?

The NM Department of Health Medical Reserve Corps has volunteers answering phones, staffing drive-through testing clinics, assisting at the homeless shelter in Albuquerque, helping COVID-19 patients in hotels and at a detox center, distributing food boxes from Road Runner Food Bank and preparing to manage alternative care sites. For more information or to volunteer click here.

2020 Census

New Mexico Counts is an outreach campaign to help ensure that the 2020 census counts all New Mexicans, especially those who are in hard to count (HTC) communities. The 2020 census data will determine national representation & funding for health care, food assistance, public education & community development for the next 10 years. The paper census is in the mail now but households may also complete the census online or by phone. For more information, go to the NM Counts or US Census websites.

2020 Conference

Our members need their CE so rather than cancel the NMNPC conference, the Education Committee is making the August conference a virtual event!

A significant benefit of the virtual format is that if August 2-4 isn’t convenient, our attendees will have up to two weeks following the conference to complete the CE activity. For more benefits click here.
