The NMNPC 2019 annual conference will be held at Hotel Albuquerque in historic Old Town March 31 - April 2. NMNPC will submit this program to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners for approval of up to 22.75 contact hours of accredited education.

2019 Spring Conference

Changing Lives: Knowledge, Skills & Simple Acts of Caring

General Information

The 2019 NMNPC spring conference will include stimulating continuing education presentations, an opportunity to network with your peers and time to enjoy historic Old Town in Albuquerque. Our keynote presentation will be The Economy of Kindness: How Kindness Transforms Your Bottom Line by Linda Cohen, MA.


Conference Information

Registration opened January 14. Register by February 24th to avoid late registration fee (use the register link above left). Student members are eligible for a significantly reduced registration fee but must submit a letter from their program director confirming student status in an NP program to finalize registration. NPs pursuing additional education are not eligible for the student rate. If you're not already a member of NMNPC, you may join now and be eligible for the member registration fee.

Hotel Reservations

NMNPC reserved a block of rooms at Hotel Albuquerque for conference attendees. The hotel will offer these special rates March 30 through April 3, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation. Attendees who book a room at Hotel Albuquerque will still provide the following resort services:


  • Daily self parking.
  • Round trip luggage assistance.
  • Complimentary newspaper in the lobby.
  • High speed internet in all guest rooms and common areas of the hotel.
  • Complimentary 15% Local Treasures discount card offered to all guest at check in. Valid at Garduño's Restaurant and many other local area businesses and restaurants.
  • Personalized concierge service.

Note: Please book early to assure room availability and special rate. You must book a reservation prior to March 11, 2019 to receive the special rates.

CE Approval

This activity is approved for 22.50 contact hour(s) of continuing education (which includes 14.26 hours of pharmacology) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Activity ID 19023552. This activity was planned in accordance with AANP Accreditation Standards and Policies.

The approved CE includes the 5 hours of non-cancer pain management content required for re-licensure every two years.

Conference Financial Assistance

NMNPC offers 2 subsidies covering the conference registration fee. The subsidies are available to members who need financial assistance to attend. For more information click here.


Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests require email notification to NMNPC will consider conference registration refunds at our discretion for emergency situations only. If approved, refunds are subject to a $25 administrative fee. Please note: NMNPC will not consider any cancellation requests after March 17th.
