Formulary

The Nursing Practice Act (NPA) requires all APRNs to maintain a formulary. NMNPC is working to remove that requirement but as of the 2024 New Mexico legislative session, it's still required by the NPA. All NPs must upload a copy of their formulary to the NMBON portal. Use the button below for a memo about this requirement from the NMBON. The memo includes step-by-step instructions for uploading your formulary to the NMBON portal. The NMBON does not require NPs to use their formulary. NPs may continue to use their current formulary or use the formulary from the NMBON. Use the link below to download the formulary. Please note that the NMBON formulary is an updated version of the one NMNPC previously provided to our members. NPs who are using the older version should download and use the updated NMBON version. It remains category-based so it's simple and efficient.
