Continuing Education
NMNPC offers members discounts on our 3-day conference in the spring and our 1-day conference celebrating NP Week in the fall. NMNPC also provides an enduring CE activity that meets the New Mexico Board of Nursing requirement for 5 contact hours of non-cancer pain management for all NPs with DEA and controlled substance licenses. Conference Subsidies
Five subsidies cover the registration fees for the spring and fall conferences - three in the spring and two in the fall. These subsidies assist NPs who might not otherwise be able to attend our conferences and reflect NMNPC's commitment to continuing education for NPs in New Mexico. Legislative Lobbyist
NMNPC employs a lobbyist to monitor and address legislative and policy issues that may affect nurse practitioners and our patients. Formulary
The New Mexico Board of Nursing (NMGON) provides an updated version of the formulary that NMNPC previously offered to members. It's now available to all NPs. The NMBON does not require NPs to use the updated formulary but all NPs must upload their formulary to the NMBON portal every renewal period. Collaborative Website Community
The ability to join NMNPC, renew your membership or update your profile online makes membership easier and more accessible. You have full access to your NMNPC CE records from NMNPC CE activities and the ability to print your CE verifications at any time. Members can search our website community for other members or find specific information on the website using Member Search or Site Search.

Due to lobbying activities on behalf of NMNPC members, only a portion of dues is deductible as a professional business expense. NMNPC estimates that 40% of your dues is deductible as a professional business expense.
